Global Cuisine and The Thrill of Discovering Something New
Our world is closing in. We are one global village.
Whether out of an adventurous vivacity or plain homesickness, global restaurants make it convenient for us to take a “trip”.
Because of this, we are taking interest in authentic and exotic foods.
The growing ethnic diversity, increased international travel, and exposure to TV chefs are all additional drivers of demand for “flavor bursts”
Take for instance, Ehthopian cuisine . I have long wanted to try it (after noticing several Ethipioan restaurants around our neighborhood) but I can’t get anyone to go with me and I believe that new experiences are always best shared. Anyway, I heard Ethiopian food is typically spicy and is made with a variety of both common meats and indigenous vegetables. However, as many would claim, it is the experience of an authentic Ethiopian that truly makes it something unique and enjoyable.
Have your ever tried injera? How about Ethiopian Cuisine? Tell me about your experience.

Ganache (pronounced /ɡəˈnɑːʃ/, from the French word for “jowl”) is a glaze, icing, or filling for pastries made from chocolate and cream. Its origins date to around 1850, when it may have been invented in Switzerland or in France.
Ganache is normally made by heating heavy/double cream, then pouring it over chopped dark semi-sweet chocolate.
Mmm. chocolate.
What is it that makes chocolate so irresistible? A large part of chocolate’s allure, of course, lies in the taste - a deliciously rich concoction that satisfies the most intense craving. But several chemical reactions are also at work. For one thing, chocolate stimulates the secretion of endorphins, producing a pleasureable sensation similar to the “runner’s high” a jogger feels after running several miles.
Kinda like love. Isn’t it? Wherein you’re giddy at first then sometimes it becomes hazardous to your health. But some experts contend that chocolate is actually healthy and good. So, should chocolate still be considered a sinful indulgence?
